Shipping and delivery
We deliver worldwide!
We are a company based in Tampere, Finland, but our webstore ships orders worldwide!
We aim to dispatch all orders within 1 to 3 business days. During sales and promotional campaigns, delivery times might be longer. Our goal is to get your order to you as quickly as possible. If something unexpected happens with our timeline, we will contact you ASAP.
Should you need your order shipped faster, please contact us at email@example.com. We will find a suitable shipment option for you.
Please note that the address should be written using Latin alphabet, as the courier companies we use require it.
Please also note that we will not be able to help locate your order or reimburse you for lost or damaged shipment should you choose a shipping option without tracking.
For Fedex and DHL Express, please provide a street address instead of a PO Box.
Regarding DHL Globalmail: Please note that the tracking number is sent by Globalmail's system, from the address firstname.lastname@example.org.
The shipping cost is based on the weight of your order. The rates are based on the agreement services we have with different delivery providers.
For domestic orders in Finland we use Posti, for orders in Europe we use DHL and for international orders outside Europe we use FedEx.
We offer free shipping when your order value is over 70 € (in Finland), 100 € (in Europe) and 150 € ( for the rest of the world).
Note: Subscription products are excluded from the free shipping.
Digital downloads are available as PDF downloads. Once you purchase a pattern you will be emailed a unique link to download the pattern on your computer, phone or tablet. You will get an email every time we update the PDF file. Due to the nature of PDF downloads we do not offer refunds on digital purchases.
Cancellations and returns
Notify us ASAP at email@example.com if you wish to cancel your order. All orders can be canceled prior to fulfillment & shipment. Once your order is shipped, you will need to follow the instructions for returns.
To return or exchange any items from your order, notify us within 14 days of your delivery to firstname.lastname@example.org. Returned items must be in the original condition and able to be re-sold. We will provide instructions for exchanges via email.

You are responsible for return shipping costs, and we cannot be held responsible for any shipments that do not make back to us. Please note that the 2nd quality Friend Sale products cannot be returned.
As soon as we receive & inspect the returned items, we will refund the price of your order, including shipping, via the original method of payment.
Please Note: We are legally obligated to represent all international purchases as “merchandise” and with exact values. We do not mark items as “gifts” or declare a value lower than the price paid by the buyer. Other countries may charge customs fees. You may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches your country.
Laine Publishing is not responsible for any additional charges for customs clearance. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so please contact your local customs office for further information. Once packages leave Finland, they are the responsibility of your national postal service or courier company. We can provide customs numbers and package information upon request.
