The Decision

This sweater was the first design I decided to create for the book, and I spent a lot of time wondering whether I could write a book amidst my already full life. In this yoke sweater, cables and lace dance together in harmony.
Yarn: mYak Baby Yak Medium in colorway Grape.
Rento

With this cardigan, I aimed to capture a relaxed, effortless, and unpretentious look—something comfortable without being overly styled or rigid. It is easy to wear, with a loose structure allowing freedom of movement and comfort.
Yarn: Pascuali Alpaca Fino in colorway 04 (beige).
Hopeful

The Hopeful shawl is knitted to reflect different aspects of hope—uncertainty and possibilities. The shawl features a double-sided reversible cable pattern, making it effortless to wear, as both sides are equally striking.
Yarn: Gepard Garn My Wool in colorway 492 (deep brownish red).
Hopeful Hat

Hopeful Hat is the little sister of the Hopeful pattern, the hat to accompany the shawl as an accessory set. The hat features the same reversible cable pattern as the shawl. You can wear the hat whichever side up you like the most and fold the brim to reveal the other side of the stitch pattern.
Yarn: Gepard Garn My Wool in colorway 492 (deep brownish red).
Shifting

In the pattern, twisted stitches change direction at regular intervals. Small bobbles, which can also be left out if you prefer not to knit them, are present along the way.
Yarn: La Bien Aimée Merino Aran in colorway Direwolf.
Spell

In the sweater, the cables intertwine as if spellbound. The first enchantment begins at the yoke, knitted from top to bottom. The intrigue of knitting continues all the way to the hem as the pattern flows seamlessly downward.
Yarn: Manos del Uruguay Alegría Grande in colorway Kohl.
Torn

The stitch pattern is relatively simple but requires a degree of focus, time, and patience. While knitting, there is no need to think too much, just enough to keep the process engaging.
Yarn: Knitting for Olive Merino in colorway Oatmeal.
Bits of Joy

These stitches carry with them the spirit of giving and the joy of receiving help. The joy of knowing that it is okay to ask for help and that help will come. The shawl is a traditional triangular shape with a playful lace pattern.
Yarn: Hedgehog Fibres Oh So Fine Merino in colorways Clay, Stone and Pollen.
Symbiose

The Symbiose beanie is a perfect pair for the Bits of Joy shawl. They can be worn together or separately, complementing each other effortlessly. The lace pattern requires a bit of focus, but it is rewarding to knit as a small lace project comes together quickly.
Yarn: Hedgehog Fibres Oh So Fine Merino in colorway Stone.
Limerence

In the sweater, romantic cables face each other, perfectly mirrored and flawless. Knitting the cables is captivating, as you are drawn to watch the pattern unfold on the needles. The oversized collar is knitted to be bold and adjustable, with its size modified by changing the needle size for different versions.
Yarn: Kettle Yarn Co. Beyul DK in colorway Yurt.
Gentle Longing

Imagine a cool summer evening, with a gentle breeze blowing as you wait and yearn. The soft touch of a cardigan against your skin on that beautiful evening. The longing is tender, just like this delicate lace cardigan.
Yarn: Wool me Once Fibers Merino Sock in colorway Debussy.
Boundaries

On one side of this double-sided shawl, the boundaries are distinct: they intertwine in partnership but remain well-defined. The reverse side can also be worn outward, appearing almost like smooth stockinette with subtle cable twists.
Yarn: John Arbon Textiles Yarnadelic Sport in colorway Galleta Guitar.
Boundaries Hat

The hat can also be turned inside out and worn with the reverse side facing outward. Just remember to weave in the yarn ends as discreetly as possible. Both sides look beautiful when the brim is folded.
Yarn: John Arbon Textiles Yarnadelic Sport in colorway Galleta Guitar.
Goddess

I hope that wearing this sweater gives you a sense of conscious confidence—one that is rooted in kindness and compassion toward yourself and others.. It is also about staying open to growth and learning, continually evolving into the best version of yourself.
Yarn: Sandnes Double Sunday in colorway white (1001) and Filcolana Tilia in colorway white (101).
Consistency

The consistent cables of Consistency intertwine in a seamless flow, moving forward with a sense of safety. The cables always turn in the same direction, and the pattern becomes easy to memorize after knitting it for a while.
Yarn: Quince & Co Crane in colorway Pearland 624.
Flutter

The delicate lace on the shoulders of the Flutter sweater resembles the patterns on a butterfly’s wings. The rhythmic design of cables and lace creates a soft fluttering effect, adding a subtle charm to this otherwise simple sweater.
Yarn: Tukuwool Fingering in colorway 48 Olive Oil and Isager Alpaca 1 in colorway 3 (mustard).
Fusion

In the Fusion scarf, two elements—cables and ribbing—are combined in a way that creates a unique whole: a reversible cable pattern. This results in two identical-looking sides that are, in fact, different—on one side, the cables twist in one direction, and on the other, they twist in the opposite direction.
Yarn: John Arbon Knit by Numbers DK in colorway KBN06.
Fusion Hat

The Fusion Hat is a matching pair to the scarf of the same name. The brim of the hat holds a surprise: when folded, the cable patterns on both sides look the same and complement each other perfectly.
Yarn: John Arbon Knit by Numbers DK in colorway KBN06.
Ardor

The stitch pattern of this knit fell into place with the structure and the math of the design like a delightful dance. That is why I chose to name this cardigan Ardor, which means burning enthusiasm or intense dedication to something.
Yarn: Oh My Pebbles in colorway Marigold.
Relief

The Relief Shawl was the final design I knitted for my book. It uses familiar garter stitch but in a refreshing and empowering way, with a simple intarsia technique to switch colors mid-row.
Yarn: TreLiz Samskara in colorways Lemon Incest, Beautiful Liar and In the Forest You Go as well as Filcolana Tilia in colorway white (101).
