Scarborough Sweater Knitting Pattern
Scarborough Sweater Knitting Pattern
The Scarborough sweater knitting pattern is a relaxed turtleneck knitwear project designed for effortless everyday wear — a piece you can reach for time and time again.
Worked seamlessly from the top down, it features a classic raglan construction and a cosy turtleneck collar. The fit is easy and comfortable, while the overall look remains timeless and understated.
Despite its cosy appearance, Scarborough is surprisingly light. The airy, drapey fabric is created by working at a loose gauge, using one strand of Laine x Novita 4ply held together with two differently coloured strands of silk mohair. This combination creates a soft marled effect, adding depth, subtle variation, and an elegant finish to your handmade knitwear.
Colour plays an essential role in the design, inviting you to experiment with different combinations and make the sweater truly your own.
