Isola sweater – a classic raglan sweater knitting pattern with 3/4 length sleeves, designed for a relaxed yet elegant fit. Knitted seamlessly from the top down, this handmade sweater pattern combines two yarns held together: a delicate lace-weight silk mohair and a fingering-weight wool, silk, and camel blend, resulting in a soft, airy, and luxurious fabric.

The decorative raglan seams add subtle detail while maintaining a timeless silhouette, making it a versatile hand-knitted wardrobe staple suitable for layering over shirts or wearing on its own.

ARM CIRCUMFERENCE: 12.75 (14.75, 16.75, 18.75, 20.75, 22.75)” / 32 (37, 42, 47, 52, 57) cm.

LENGTH FROM UNDERARM TO HEM: 11” / 28 cm or desired length.

SLEEVE LENGTH FROM UNDERARM: 7” / 17.5 cm or desired length.

MATERIALS

YARN: 3 (3, 3, 4, 4, 5) skeins of On Stage Long Métrage by Nature’s Luxury (50% wool, 30% silk, 20% camel, 437 yds / 400 m – 100 g), colourway Blue Jasmine. And 4 (4, 5, 6, 7, 7) skeins of Silk Divine by Nature’s Luxury (60% mohair, 40% silk, 262 yds / 240 m – 20 g), colourway Night Owl.

NEEDLES: US 5 / 3.75 mm circular needles for ribbing and US 7 / 4.5 mm circular needles for stockinette stitch. You will also need spare circular needles, preferably the same size as the ones you will use for ribbing.

NOTIONS: 9 stitch markers (choose a different kind of marker for BOR m), waste yarn, tapestry needle.
