Nara Scarf Knitting Pattern
Nara Scarf Knitting Pattern
Nara is a scarf knitting pattern for a small scarf that elevates any outfit. Depending on your chosen length, it can be worn around the neck, styled as a knitted hairband, or tied around the waist for a modern, playful look.
This design offers a simple yet creative knitwear project, perfect for experimenting with colour. Choose bold shades to make a statement or opt for neutral tones for a more understated finish. It is also an ideal stash-busting project, making thoughtful use of leftover yarn.
This pattern is a digital PDF download. After purchase, you will be given a unique link to download the pattern to your computer, phone or tablet. Please note that, due to the nature of digital knitting patterns, refunds are not available.
One size.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Length: 31.5”/ 80 cm (or adjust as desired).
Width: 2”/ 5 cm.
MATERIALS
Yarn:
Yarn A: 1 skein of Amirisu Drift (60% super kid mohair, 40% silk, 656 yds / 600 m – 50 g), colourway: Green Rays.
Yarn B: 1 skein of La Bien Aimée Merino Singles (100% merino, 400 yds / 366 m – 100 g), colourway: Blanc.
The scarf is knitted with both yarns held together.
Note! You will have plenty of leftover yarn, enough for multiple scarves or other small projects!
Alternatively, you can use any similar lace-weight or fingering-weight yarns with comparable yardages. The weight isn’t crucial; if you wish to knit a bigger scarf, you can simply choose a thicker yarn.
Needles: US 6 / 4 mm needles.
Notions: Tapestry needle.
GAUGE
27 sts x 18 rows = 4”/ 10 cm in stitch pattern, after blocking.
Gauge isn’t critical for this project, but it will affect the finished size.
