Never miss an issue! Subscribe to Laine Magazine and save €20. Your yearly subscription includes four issues delivered every three months.

Laine Magazine is a leading knitwear magazine, published since 2016. Each issue features patterns from top knitwear designers, insightful long-form stories from the world of wool, interviews and beautiful visual storytelling. You’ll find 14 to 16 knitting patterns in every issue. With a yearly subscription, you’ll always receive the latest issue as soon as it’s released.

This subscription includes issues 30 (Autumn), 31 (Winter) and 32 (Spring) and 33 (Summer).

Choose a regular auto-renewing subscription, or if you’d like to treat someone else, a gift subscription. For gift subscriptions, we’ve created a PDF template you can print and give to the recipient, so they’ll know their subscription is on the way. Please note that we’ll process the subscription as usual and send the first issue right away.

Shipping

Shipping costs vary depending on the shipping method and package weight. The final shipping cost is calculated at checkout after you add products to your cart.

Europe: DHL
Rest of the world: FedEx

We offer free shipping on orders over:

Finland: 50 €
Baltics (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania): 70 €
Europe: 70 €
Europe Non-EU (Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, UK): 80 €
USA: 200 €
Rest of the world: 150 €

Many of our publications are also available as digital downloads. Digital editions are delivered instantly as PDF files — no shipping required. After purchase, you will receive an email with a unique download link. The file can be downloaded to your computer, phone or tablet.

If the PDF file is updated, you will receive an email with access to the latest version. Due to the nature of digital products, we do not offer refunds for digital purchases.

Worldwide delivery

All orders are shipped from our warehouse in Tampere, Finland and we deliver worldwide.

Orders are usually dispatched within 2–4 business days. During sales and promotional campaigns, processing times may be slightly longer. If there are unexpected delays, we will contact you as soon as possible.

Customs and import charges

Laine Publishing is not responsible for any additional customs clearance charges. Customs policies vary widely between countries, so please contact your local customs office for further information.

Once packages leave Finland, they become the responsibility of your national postal service or courier company. We can provide tracking and customs information upon request.

We are legally required to declare all international purchases as merchandise with their full value. We cannot mark items as gifts or declare a lower value than the purchase price.

Import duties or taxes may apply when the package arrives in your country.

Note for customers in the United States

We will continue shipping to the US after the new tariff regulations take effect on 29 August.

Based on the information currently available, books and magazines will remain exempt from tariffs, while yarns, planners and notebooks may be subject to import tariffs.

In accordance with U.S. regulations, any applicable tariffs or import duties are assessed by U.S. authorities and are the responsibility of the importer at the time of delivery. These charges are determined by law and are outside our control.

DO NOT USE FEDEX FOR YOUR US CUSTOMERS

I love this publication so much!! It is absolutely beautiful, the content is creative and the patterns are simply inspiring. My only complaint, please continue to send any US subscribers their magazine via DHL(as is indicated with the subscription order) AND NOT FEDEX!!! FedEx has been adding import fees due to the ineptness of their company, they have a horrible reputation for the services they provide. I am currently disputing the $17.40 import fee that was assessed to issue #28 despite the documentation you kindly provided. I have had no such issues when DHL is the carrier. The current administration running our country is a group of billionaire morons with absolutely no knowledge of government and how the laws are supposed to work. Hopefully this reign of Nazis will end soon.

We love this publication but the tarrifs by FedEx

We love this publication (!) but the tarrifs by FedEx make it very expensive. FedEx should not be charging on printed materials but they do. Whatever you can do on your end to stop this would be helpful.

Magazines and books fall under Chapter 49 and are classified as informational materials, which should be free of tariffs and duties. However, due to the recent customs changes, we have unfortunately seen an increasing number of cases where customers receive customs-related charges.

I appreciate the seemingly simple yet elevated and functional Nordic design elements of the patters features in each issue, especially when the construction is innovative and intuitive. I am really excited every time the new issue arrives in my post box. The recipes included are always tempting. I enjoy to read about the inspiration for each design. That inspires me to reflect my own intentions when creating a new garment. Keep up the great work!
