Wild Rose Slipover Knitting Kit
Featured in the Laine Anniversary Issue, the Wild Rose slipover by Dee Hardwicke combines simple construction with beautiful embroidered details. The body is worked from the bottom up, mostly in the round, and the rose motif is added afterwards using Swiss darning.
The slipover is knitted with one strand of Laine x Novita 4ply.
This knitting kit includes the yarn required to knit the sweater in your chosen colourway, including the colour-block accents at the hem with contrasting colours. Simply select your size to receive the correct amount of yarn. Please refer to the Sizing tab for guidance on choosing your size.
The sample slipover is knitted in Woodland Bark for the hem, neck and armhole edgings, Sandy Shoreline for the background of the repeat chart and Frosted Mint for the contrast colour.
The Swiss darning uses small amounts of Pine Forest, Whispering Petal, Earthy Olive and Golden Amber. As only a little yarn is needed for the embroidery, this is also a perfect opportunity to use leftovers from your own stash. If you prefer to do so, simply remove yarns 4–7 from your bundle after adding it to your cart.
Please note: The knitting pattern is not included in this kit. It is available in the Laine Anniversary Issue, sold separately.
