Description

“Creativity is said to thrive in the shadows, to bloom in the darkness we long to escape. But perhaps it is nurtured in quiet moments between friends, in spaces where silence is not a void but a presence filled with possibility.”

Stunning colourwork patterns

The patterns in CULTIVATE embrace the creativity of colourwork. I love how the embroidery emphasizes the details in the natural motifs. Due to the amount of colours used in some of the patterns, the cost of yarn adds up quickly, but these will definitely be special, heirloom pieces!

I've been knitting for years, have a vast collection of knitting books and patterns, and this is possibly the most gorgeous book of knitting I have ever seen. On to a project - decisions, decisions.

Beautiful photography, just a wonderful book to have! I saw later on most patterns are working with a duplicate stitch instead of color work but nevertheless.. I can’t wait to get started. I also have The Knitted Fabric by Dee Hardwicke so my color work game can go on!

Lovely book. Full of beautiful patterns. I did not realize that it was most duplicate stitch I am generally more interested in stranded colorwork, but this will make a nice addition to my knitting library
