Description

Haworth-takki on nimetty yorkshirelaisen kylän mukaan, jossa Brontën siskokset asuivat ja kirjoittivat. Takki huokuu tuulenpieksämää hiljaista voimaa, rauhaisaa yksinäisyyttä ja pidättyväisyyttä. Se on hillitty mutta monisyinen kuin pappilan seinien ulkopuolella levittäytyvät nummet – vaate, jolla tuntuu olevan suora yhteys luontoon ja säiden muokkaamaan maisemaan. Pehmeästä villamohairlangasta neulottava takki pitää lämpimänä ja suojaa viimalta ja on yhtä aikaa sekä moderni että ajaton. Vaalea hiekkainen väri tuo mieleen sumun kanervanummen yllä, ruohomaisemaa halkovat kivipolut sekä pohjoisen aamun lempeän valon: tyynen, neutraalin ja kestävän.

Haworth on suunniteltu jokapäiväiseksi luottovaatteeksi, jonka voi valita ylleen uudestaan ja uudestaan, oli sen seurana sitten mekko, kauluspaita tai t-paita. Yarn 1) 4 (5, 5, 6, 6) (7, 7, 8, 8) skeins of Laine x Novita DK by Novita (70% Falkland Wool, 15% Bluefaced Leicester, 15% Bluefaced Kerry Hill, 246 yds / 225 m – 100 g), colourway: 6141 Sandy Shoreline.

Alternatively, you can use approx. 841 (1015, 1127, 1234, 1363) (1515, 1647, 1798, 1945) yds / 769 (929, 1031, 1129, 1247) (1385, 1506, 1645, 1781) m of any similar DK-weight yarn with comparable yardage.

Yarn 2) 4 (5, 5, 6, 6) (7, 7, 8, 8) balls of Edith by Novita (70% mohair, 30% silk, 229 yds / 210 m – 25 g), colourway: 6121 Touch.

Alternatively, you can use approx. 785 (948, 1052, 1152, 1272) (1414, 1537, 1678, 1818) yds / 720 (869, 965, 1057, 1167) (1296, 1410, 1539, 1667) m of any similar lace-weight yarn with comparable yardage.

Needles: US 7 / 4.5 mm circular needles for ribbing and the buttonband and US 9 / 5.5 mm circular needles for the main fabric.

Notions: 3 buttons, stitch markers, tapestry needle.

GAUGE
18 sts x 26 rows = 4" / 10 cm in stitch pattern on US 9 / 5.5 mm needles, after blocking.
