Cinthia Valletin metodissa eläimet neulotaan nenästä alkaen ja kohti jalkoja – näin hahmo kasvaa vaivattomasti puikoilla sen sijaan, että se koottaisiin osista. On palkitsevaa nähdä, miten eläimen persoona tulee näkyviin.
Yksi hahmo syntyy pienestä määrästä lankaa: et tarvitse koskaan enempää kuin 50 grammaa, useimmiten vähemmän. Ohjeissa suositaan luonnonkuituja, etenkin lampaanvillaa sekä alpakka- ja mohair-sekoituksia.
