Free Crochet Pattern: Veska Bum Bag

Summer is the best time for crochet. That's why we have a little treat for you: A free crochet pattern for Veska Bum Bag designed non other than the amazing Molla Mills!

Veska is a handy but trendy bum bag to carry along all your valuables. Whether you are new to crochet or an experienced one, this bag will be fun to make. All you need is a hook and some rag yarn.

The bum bag is worked back and forth in single crochet stitches. Add stitches in two corners in each row and the work grows seamlessly. Make a separate front piece and back piece, a lid, and a pocket. Join them together with a slip stitch seam.

Pattern details:

• Size: w. 18 cm, h. 16 cm, d. 6 cm
• Yarn: Rag yarn (cut 1 cm wide strips from the rag), lilac 300 g. Thick cotton yarns also work for this piece.
• Hook: 5 mm
• Gauge: 8 sc x 8 rnds = 5 x 5 cm
• Other: Tuck lock, two leather pieces l. 4 cm, leather belt
