Animato
This engaging top-down sweater may take time and patience to complete, but it is well worth the effort. Intricate cable patterns, long ribbed cuffs, balloon sleeves and hem slits create a stunning design.

Aria
Aria’s rhythmic lace pattern is meditative to knit. I designed this piece as a wrap skirt, but later realized it would also look cute worn as a top wrapped around the body or on the shoulders as a shawl! Choose between a longer and shorter version.
Yarn: Wanderlust Linen by Amirisu, colourway Iceland (long version) and Antarctica (short version).
Bolero
Bolero is a charming cape that is worked in an all-over twisted ribbing pattern. It features a high collar and a neat, scalloped hem that is created with short rows. It is the perfect knit to add flair to your everyday look!

Brillante
This design was inspired by the speckled, pink bouclé yarn from James Makes Yarn. It reminded me of small plush toys I loved collecting as a child. Brillante can be worn as a vest or a large shawl — find your favorite style!

Legato
This fluffy one-shoulder sweater was the very first design I envisioned when I began working on this book. It is a quick, chunky knit worked with two yarns held together and can be worn with the sleeve on either side.
Yarn: Big Kumo by La Bien Aimée, colourway Loam and Helix by La Bien Aimée, colourway Jonna.
Lullaby
When I started knitting, I discovered a 40-year-old sweater my mother had made — and instantly fell in love with it and its i-cord cables! For Lullaby, I redesigned this knit, adding my own twist to it. You can see the inspiration for this design on page 6.
Yarn: German Merino Light by Mominoki Yarn, colourways Ocean and Pure White.
Melody
The names of my designs are often inspired by music, which has always played a big role in my life. The stitch pattern in this top-down sweater resembles a musical staff. While the yoke features wide stripes, the body and balloon sleeves are worked in brioche.
Yarn: Fingering Singled by The Wandering Flock, colourway Peach Melba and Mohair Lace by The Wandering Flock, colourway Neon Coral.
Menuet
Menuet is a triangular lace shawl with an elegant scalloped edge. While the sample was made in DK-weight, you could also use sport- or fingering-weight yarns if preferred — just keep in mind that this affects yardage.
Yarn: Priestess by Ritual Dyes, colourways Portulaca, Rhodonite and Jadeite.
Ode to Joy
Playing the piano is something I love to do together with my boys. I designed these cool cuffs to wear while we play Ode to Joy from Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9. They not only look adorable but also keep your wrists warm.
Yarn: Ulysse by De Rerum Natura, colourway Bouleau.
Waltz
A cape that makes you feel like dancing the waltz! This adorable accessory is worked in hand-dyed DK-weight yarn from the bottom up and features a gorgeous ruffled hem with a picot stitch edge.
