Tiny Friends – A Guide to Mosaic Embroidery opastaa lukijan tekemään värikkäitä leluja mosaiikkikirjonnalla: tekniikalla, jonka on kehittänyt japanilainen kirjontataiteilija Tomomi Mimura. Kirja esittelee 13 Tomomin suunnittelemaa leikkisää eläinhahmoa – sekä pienempiä sorminukkeja että hieman suurempia täytettyjä leluja – jotka tuovat taatusti hymyn huulille. Valokuvien, kuvitusten ja vaihe vaiheelta -ohjeiden avulla Tomomi näyttää, kuinka eläimet ensin kirjaillaan ja sitten kootaan.

Mosaiikkikirjonta (englanniksi ”mosaic embroidery”) on tekniikka, joka perustuu perinteisiin parsimispistoihin. Alkuun päästäksesi tarvitset vain kirjontakehikon, kangasta, lankaa, neulan ja sakset! Kirjontaan voi helposti hyödyntää pienimpiäkin langanjämiä.

Laine Publishing is not responsible for any additional customs clearance charges. Customs policies vary widely between countries, so please contact your local customs office for further information.

Once packages leave Finland, they become the responsibility of your national postal service or courier company. We can provide tracking and customs information upon request.
