This book is a collection of Olga’s favorite knitting techniques and projects. Here you will find colorwork, slip stitch, cables, stockinette, tuck stitch and ribbed stitch patterns, with a little garter stitch and lace for good measure.
Colorwork sparks creativity, letting you paint with yarn like an artist with a brush. Cables weave rich textures, crafting cozy sweaters to ward off the Northeast’s bitter winters.
Sweaters, swonchos, short sleeved tops, vests, hats, shawls, socks, mittens and a cardigan — if you’re a knitter, there is a project here you will enjoy.

“One of the things I love so much about knitting is that I feel there is always something new to learn, and different ways to do an already mastered technique.”

I received my copy and I love it. Olga’s patterns are beautiful. I‘ve only noticed that the Midge pattern is missing all the charts mencioned. Would it be possible to get them vía email? Thank you!

Dear Paola,

Thank you for your wonderful feedback and for letting us know about the missing charts. We’ll be adding them to our errata shortly, but if you could email us at hello@lainepublishing.com, we can send them to you directly as soon as possible.

Love it!

Absolutely gorgeous, textured patterns. I've just gotten started on the Dovetail sweater, I can't wait to try the rest.

Beautiful patterns, lingering questions

I love the book. I started working the Mother Hood pattern but I have some questions and think there may be missing instructions/errors. Gauge is given for the larger needle but after you cast on with the larger needle you are instructed to switch to the smaller needle but the pattern does not indicate to switch or use the larger needle anywhere. Also it seems as if Row 5 is missing the placement of the second stitch marker as the marker is referenced in a subsequent row. Is it possible to get the corrections?

Hi Michele!

We would love to help you on this. Please email our pattern suppport on hello@lainepublishing.com and we'll figure everything out for you!

Best,
Päivi
