MATERIALS
Yarn:
MC: 2 skeins of Shear by Harrisville Designs (100% CVM and Romedale, 320 yds / 293 m – 100 g), colourway Shear.
CC1: 2 balls of Sensai by Ito (60% mohair, 40% silk, 262 yds / 240 m – 20 g), colourway 364 Top Dark Grey.
CC2: 2 balls of Soft Silk Mohair by Knitting for Olive (70% mohair, 30% silk, 246 yds / 225 m – 25 g), colourway Linen.
The shawl is worked holding these three yarns together.
If you decide to use another yarn, you will need approx. 634 yds / 580 m of DK weight yarn in MC and 470 yds / 430 m of lace-weight yarn in each CC.
Needles: US 10.5 or 11 / 7 mm 32–40" / 80–100 cm circular needles.
GAUGE
14 sts x 24 rows to 4" / 10 cm in Garter Stitch, after blocking.
NOTES
The size of this shawl is easily adjustable by knitting more or fewer rows, therefore you can actually use whatever yarns you wish – or have in your stash, just note that using different weights will mean the yardage needed and shawl size will also change.
