Description

Featured in the Laine Anniversary Issue, the Cadence sweater by Marie Régnier draws inspiration from the rhythmic grids of Modernist architecture, where repetition creates structure and balance. Its boxy V-neck silhouette and European shoulder construction are complemented by cables, ribbing and a Latvian braid, bringing subtle variations in rhythm and a quiet, tactile sense of harmony.

The sweater is knitted in Laine x Novita DK. Made from a beautiful blend of Falkland wool, Bluefaced Leicester and Bluefaced Kerry Hill, this high-quality DK-weight yarn is spun with care in West Yorkshire, England and lends itself beautifully to textured stitch patterns.

This knitting kit includes all the Laine x Novita DK yarn needed to knit Cadence in your chosen colourway. Simply select your size to receive the correct amount of yarn. Please refer to the Details tab for guidance on choosing your size.

The sample sweater is knitted in Tender Fog.

Once packages leave Finland, they become the responsibility of your national postal service or courier company. We can provide tracking and customs information upon request.

We are legally required to declare all international purchases as merchandise with their full value. We cannot mark items as gifts or declare a lower value than the purchase price.

In accordance with U.S. regulations, any applicable tariffs or import duties are assessed by U.S. authorities and are the responsibility of the importer at the time of delivery. These charges are determined by law and are outside our control.
The sweater is worked from the top down, beginning with the back, mostly in a cable stitch pattern. After the front and backs are joined, the body is worked in the round to the desired length.
The name Cadence reflects the rhythmic stitch pattern.
The shoulders and neckline feature a Latvian braid detail. When working the braids, remember to maintain an even tension, as the braid naturally tightens the fabric.
