Travel Guide: Lisbon
It's almost impossible not to fall in love with this sun-kissed city. From colourful facades and decorative tiles to the positive energy that flows in the winding streets, Lisbon never ceases to inspire us.
STAY
Retrosaria is a lovely yarn shop run by Rosa Pomar. You will be charmed by a wide range of local and international yarns and textiles. Be sure not to leave without a skein of hand spun Portuguese wool, such as Bucos or Beiroa. Retrosaria's own yarns are produced in collaboration with small factories and breeders – it is Rosa's aim to keep traditional Portuguese yarn production and the art of knitting thriving.
EAT
Stop by to have an espresso and pastel de nata sprinkled with cinnamon and powdered sugar while watching how the skilled bakers make the traditional, sweet custard pastries Portugal is known for. This place alone is reason enough to visit Lisbon.
